A simple reporting process
- 1Protect yourself firstFor a stolen account, change its password from a trusted device and turn on two-step verification. For payment fraud, call your bank or mobile-money provider right away.
- 2Keep useful evidenceSave dates, usernames, transaction references, messages, and screenshots. Don’t delete messages or pay an extortionist.
- 3Choose the right contact belowCrimes and threats go to the police. Urgent technical incidents can go to LNCC. Payment issues should also go to your bank or mobile-money provider.
- 4Share only what is neededNever send passwords, PINs, one-time codes, full card numbers, private keys, or identity documents by email.
